art is the creation of someones elses emotions and feelings into physical form that provokes emotions from the viewers of the creation.

context
raymond moore was an english art photographer who specialised in post war photos.
Andrew prokos specialises in cityscapes and landscapes.
context has a major part in art photography, artists use photo editing to make the picture more interesting to look at and to make more sureal pictures to get thier points across. The use of background is also used to effect the picture/ photo, the background or foreground can be used to affect what the photo is about.

techniques
early artists didnt have photo editing programs so had to take the picture as it is, through the camera, artists today have photo editing abilities, and can make any picture though this, limited by thier emagination. modern artists can use photoshop, lighting and other affects to change the reality of the picture to create a different image.

Fashion photography


Application
fashion photography is photographs of people and clothes to promote those clothes and people. Fashion photography is usually of good looking people in clothes that the public want, sometimes the images are photoshopped to improve the persons looks. Most of the people in the fashion shoot are standing and you can see the whole body.

context
some of the photos taken are edited to make the person look better than they are, fashion photos usually consist of exotic, exposing, elegant pictures, and more than 90% are of women. Adverts are less controversial than photo shoots because there is more freedom in photo shoots to do what you want.


techniques
the techniques used are photoshop, which lets you edit the image, usually the weight of the person.
technology influences the picture, old fashioned fashion pictures took more time and couldnt be edited due to the lack of the technology at the time.
